We make
few things,
slowly.
ZMS is a body studio in Saida. We make cloth, makeup, skin, and scent in runs small enough to check every piece by hand.
Six pieces. Four categories. One drawing at a time.
The object is the argument.
We are not interested in a house style. We are interested in whether a thing needs to exist, and then whether it can be made without apology. A shirt should fall correctly. A red should be decided. A cream should be short enough to understand.
The studio was founded in Saida in 2026. The first collection began as a list of things we used every day and could not find in the form we wanted: a white shirt with a soft collar, a red without shimmer, a fragrance-free cream, a scent that reads as warmth rather than perfume. The method has not changed much since.
Drawing 01 / Body studies
Every piece begins as a line.
The first drawing is always a section. It shows what the piece is made of, how thick the wall is, and where the weight sits. If the section is unresolved, no amount of surface will save it.
We draw at 1:2, then at 1:1. The full-size drawing is the one that gets argued over. It is also the one that goes to the workshop.

02 / Method
Draw. Make.
Remove. Repeat.
Most of the work is subtraction. A piece is not finished when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away without breaking it.
01 / Form
Resolve it on paper.
Every piece is drawn in section before it is cut or formulated. We test the proportions against a body, a hand, and a mirror. If it needs a detail to explain itself, the form is not finished.
02 / Prototype
Wear the first one.
Prototypes are made in the final material, not in stand-in fabric or a generic base. We wear them, wash them, and leave them in the light. The first version is usually adjusted until it stops asking for attention.
03 / Production
Make a run, then stop.
Cloth is cut and sewn in Saida; cosmetics are filled in the EU. Runs are between 40 and 120 pieces. When a run sells out, it is remade only if the piece still earns its place.

A short
record.
The studio is new. The record is short on purpose. Not every month produced a piece; some produced a drawing that never left the studio. Both are part of the record.

The studio begins
Founded in Saida with one bench, a shared pattern table, and the first Fold Shirt toile.

Cloth and makeup
The shirt and dress are resolved. Rouge 01 is poured after eleven pigment trials; the aluminium case is chosen for weight, not shine.

Skin
Barrier Cream and Cleansing Oil are finished with a cosmetic partner in the EU. Both are fragrance-free and tested on the studio's own faces.

Smoke
The first scent is composed in Grasse and bottled in Saida. Iris, cedar, incense, clean musk. The collection is complete for now.

Six pieces. No seasonal colourways, no range extensions, no seventh piece until it earns the space.
04 / Visit & contact
The studio is open by appointment.
We are in Saida Centre, a short walk from the casbah. There is usually a toile on the table and a pot of coffee that has been reheated once too often. Write ahead with the pieces you would like to see; we will arrange a time and a ground-floor meeting if the studio stairs are a problem.
